Hi, my name is Nice Peter, and this is a live concert video of our song Shaycarl and the Shaytards. This is a really important song to me and Dante (drums- http://youtube.com/givememotion) because it was our first big hit on youtube. Actually it was our first big hit, period. And it makes me feel good that a big break for our music didn't come from a lot of money or a big promotional campaign, it just came from real people watching our videos. We sold 7000 copies of this song in the first month, and me and Dante and a little company (at the time) called Maker took all that money and put it into a little recording studio that we lived in with no shower. That gave me and Lloyd the ability to shout as Abe Lincoln and Chuck Norris, late at night, and keep working all night without bothering any neighbors to get the right take.
If you've been here since this song first came out, thank you for supporting us with that first single, it gave us what we needed to keep making the songs and videos we want to make for you. That's a pretty cool thing, and so is Youtube.
