Blue Dragon: Spark Dragon fight

This is my team getting it on with the Spark Dragon. He's easily the hardest of the hidden dragons because his Black Wind attack does all sorts of crazy damage to your entire party no matter how high your resists are.

All my guys were in their mid 40's. I went into this fight fairly early. I hadn't gone into the Mecha Base, Upper Mecha Base, or the Primitive Cube, so there were some choice pieces of gear I would have liked to have but didn't get yet.

Now as always, my guys are statted for speed above all else. Shu has the Final War Necklace and all the others have Kelolon necklaces. Because each of the guys with the necklaces also had a free accessory slot I added a ribbon to them to counteract the Kelolon stat from the necklace. Even without the ribbon though it wouldn't be too hard to cast one quick Cure Kelolon at the Begining of the fight.

Since at this point I only had one Belt of Hermes, I gave it to Jiro, since I'm counting on him to make sure that I have a Wallus up before ANY attack from the Spark Dragon, since an unchecked Dark Wind can easily take out my 3 middle guys.

Of Course Zola and Shu are both wearing bellybutton rings of wind, so there is no chance that Black Wind can cause them any damage, so there is really no way I could have lost this battle.

There are only 2 of said bellybutton rings in the game, and both are easily obtained by this point. The first is in a chest in the Underground River. The second can be stolen as the rare Item from the Land Shark C boss in the Ancient Ruins Forest.

@TheCopperWare 1337 damage isnt hard to do it just takes time to grind up in level ive done damage in the 2500's before and criticals in the 3500's

to beat the king poo or gold mecha robo you MUST be at least level 70ish unless your one damn good player

Funny... I've played this game for 2 years, got stuck at the end, and NEVER encountered any of the hidden dragons. I find King Poo before, but never beat him....

1337 damage must have been hard to do.
