Gran aria, aunque la voz de David Walker deje mucho que desear en algunos momentos, pero considero que la interpretación está bastante bien. La escenografía también es bastante... peculiar, no le encuentro demasiado sentido, especialmente viendo sólo este fragmento, pero, como he dicho al principio, gran aria, ojalá empiecen a tomar más protagonismo las óperas de Häendel. :)
I don't think it is for us to decide what directors should 'want' to bring attention to or not. There is plenty relevance to the plot in the staging itself; granted if this is someone's introduction to Rinaldo, it may be confusing, but I maintain that the staging in this production is cleverly thought-out and deserved to be produced.
It's not a question of open mind. The stagging is too ridiculous. Stage directors should not want to attract more attention to the stagging than to singing and plot.

The plot is not less ridicolous than the staging! Enjoy the wonderfull voices and the superb orchestra.
