Swimming hare: rabbit escapes chasing dogs, drowning and entangling in fishing lines

A wild rabbit escapes from chasing dogs, drowning in water and getting tangled in fishing lines.
The video was shot on April 3rd, 2004 - Easter Saturday. An European hare (Lepus Europaeus) was chased by farm dogs and jumped in the water to avoid a fence, then swam across the lake's bank and from a safe distance came out of the water right under a casting rod.
Location: Kourioum dam (protected game/reservation area), Alassa park, Limassol District - Cyprus. Recorded with Sony DSC-P50.

@wwvvwvvww The farm fence was about 100 yards on the right side, from where I could hear the dogs barking frenetically a minute before seeing the hare swimming; however they couldn't/didn't get out of the farm.

I have a Sony DSC P50 too.....it´s an nice old camera and it makes good pictures for its 2.1 Megapixels. But I have also an Sony DSC F828 with 8 Megapixels......this camera is still state of the art ;)
