Great movie by Lukas Moodysson and Stefan Jarl, mildly edited by me.

"Come on; give me a vibration
Here on a lane in a world without end station
Do you see a ship or a mushroom?
Is it too much to ask for a vibration?

"Welcome to our little planet
Welcome to our little planet

You search for words; all you get is a symbol
If you really want to see you'll get more than you think

Welcome to our little planet
Welcome to our little planet
Our planet! Our planet!

Do you hear a voice when you sit down?
Soon it'll go quiet but you want more

Welcome to our little planet

Is there food, is there accomondation in the universe?
I'm just a student in an abandoned classroom
Come a little closer in my sacrophagus
A little cosmic variation, is all I want.

Welcome to our little planet
Our planet! Our planet!

Welcome to our little planet..."

  • Problem is, neither socialism, or capitalism works. With socialism, you will still have poverty, because it gives the state the power, and when the state "a few men" have power, they will want more power, and they do not care for the people, look at all the communist countries there have been in the world, it has never worked..

sadly, capitalism is the closest we get to freedom and justice in this world.

btw i really enjoy your video's been watching some and gogo keep makin em ;)

  • @fireborn2nn Well, tell me what is then ?, if you say communism, then look at history, if you look at socialism, it leads to more and more state owned property, eventually people will barely be making their own things anymore because its not allowed unless the state owns it. "stupid formulation, but you get the idea =p"

And when you say not as free as it sounds, i do realize we are all pupets of a society that wants us to be a certain way, but what can we do? in the end we are just pupets right?

  • @fireborn2nn

You are only a puppet if you wish to be one. It is up to you to arise from your shackles to freedom, or rally under the banner of those who seek it, such as socialists. Then again, one may argue you are a puppet by simply rallying under a banner, however, if we are to ever free ourselves from the shackles of capitalism, we must do it through unity, and not diversity. We may be puppets, but without us, there is no them.

  • @fireborn2nn

Communism and socialism is definitely the first step to freedom. As I said, communism has never existed. It can exist, however. When the time is right.

Socialism doesn't necessarily mean state owned property, rather socialism points towards worker-controlled property and means of production, and the equal and justful distribution of wealth and resources.

havanatimes has an interesting article on just this, if you can bother to search.

  • @fireborn2nn

Communism has never worked because communism has never really existed. Not in North Korea, not in China(totalitarian state capitalism), not in the Soviet Union(stalinism =/= communism). Cuba, for example, has a literacy rate of 100, and very good health care. This ALL while under an embargo by the United States is very impressive.

As a final note, I am not going to discuss the ups and downs of socialism over youtube. As you notice, too few letters allowed.

    Take care, friend.

  • @fireborn2nn

    An addendum, of sorts:

I find it curious you say socialism gives the state the power, when socialism is exactly the opposite, giving the people the power. Capitalism, on the other hand, is giving the power to a few men, who then want more of it. Such as corporations that seek profit via globalization by exploiting people in lesser developed countries. Child workers, for example.

Capitalism isn't the closest we can get to freedom and justice in this world.

If freedom isn't universal, it's only an extended privilege. One might argue the freedom of western civilization isn't as free as it sounds, but that's a different story.

Capitalism will end up destroying us, it is not a question if any longer. It is a question when. Profit before everything else.

  • @fireborn2nn

Capitalism is exploitation of workers and poor for profit. It also promotes imperialism in the name of profit.

Socialism is equal and(<--) justful distribution of wealth and resources, and the only way to do that is having some form of authority govern it.
