@tBusket how about this?he'ss closed down two wars.he's started some way of making healthcare available to ALL citizens..he's allowed research of stem cells and improved space exploration by letting private companies do the grunt work of shuttle launches.the economy HASN't collapsed as it very well could have.so much to give credit for yet no one does.Obama has done far more in 3 years to help than bush did in 8. Forget not that Obama inherited a shit storm from Bush with unpaid bills and wars.

Hitchens knows well. but he can't possibly know whether or not winning the prize had a good effect on foreign relations after obama took office. On a personal level he could be right but what matters is how other people see this prize as.

@Vroom246 Bush had an agreement with the Iraqi government that the troops would be out by the end of 2011. Obama wanted to stay, but the Iraqi government Didn't want the troops there anymore. Obama had nothing to do with having the troops out of Iraq. We killed thousands of innocent Iraqi's and you're applauding him for stopping a slaughter? It is just plain war-mongering excuses to have us start more wars.

I like how the anchor's argument for peace is that Obama is breaking the 8 year rule of the war hawks. What does Obama proceed to do? Continue the wars for years after being elected.

@DJCamYank maybe i misspoke about being "hardcore" gay but he was deff. bi sexual and spoke in length about his homosexual experiences. me saying he was gay was not meant as an attack on him, it was simply a statement of (mis-spoken, and possibly incorrect) "fact". neither was saying he was a socialist or an atheist. in my mind these were ment as statements alone and not a reflection of character. also i was a little drunk when i posted this lastnight.
