@eithanley01 I don't know what you were expecting, genius. The title did say "Flood Gates" with the description "Spillway at Fall River Dam in Greenwood County Kansas". I'm not sure what expectations you had. moron.

im not going to agree with either of you, the title is simply flood gates, and you definately show footage of a flood gate, i guess he was expecting them to open or something.

I'm guessing that that is Fall River. It is pretty amazing when the flood gates are open.

Yes. The lake was built in 1949 by the Army Corps of Engineers as a flood control. There are many species of birds, including bald eagles. It is a beautiful place. Thanks for you comment Gwolfe.

Those are not the flood gates. The Big Doors are the flood gates. All those things do is turn a turbine
to generate power

Oh thanks for the info. This lake was built for flood control only and there is no power station there. Too bad their isn't though.
