Following her first rehearsal for the semi-final of the Eurovision Song
Contest in the Telenor Arena, Safura the representative from Azerbaijan
spoke and sang a couple of songs for esctoday.com. Safura discussed how
she was delighted with her first rehearsal and of the honour of
representing Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest. She said that
despite having to maneuver down steep stairs on the stage whilst
wearing 12 inch heels, she was confident she would not fall over as she
has plenty of experience wearing high heels. She went on to say that as
a 17 year old her heart had not been broken by love, however if it ever
happened she would draw from the emotion of the Drip drop lyrics. As
well as singing her Eurovision entry Drip drop, she sang one of her
favourite songs Listen by Beyonce.
