thats normal around here they beat up on the diamonds all the time, NS on the other hand had their business train go over a section of track with a piece of rail sticking up about 3 or so inches from the top of the railhead I have a great picture of it.

i got something worse. a mini sink whole opened up under some CSX tracks in buffalo. my uncle back the truck up as a train came buy. we ourselves took stone from around the corner. Used to make the crossing easier on trucks as they sometimes get stuck in the tracks. its a very tight turn. We filled it in adn then called our CSX buddy and told him

I've seen a lot of spots like that in my area as well. CSX has actually been spending a lot of time this summer fixing some of them. I hope they got to that one before its to late.

That diamond has been like that for a long time. The crap shoot of it is a inspector went through a day before I shot this went right over it and didnt even stop.
