History Channel - Yellowstone 2009 Part 1 of 5

www.yellowstonecaldera.net Rolling out yet ANOTHER Yellowstone Supervolcano documentary in 2009, this makes number 9 since the year 2000, in an attempt at raising "Global Awareness" as stated being the reason behind all the Yellowstone Volcano Documentaries that have suddenly started surfacing since the year 2000. Like every documentary released, they all have their "unique" discoveries.

One of it's eruptions is rated as the 2nd largest volcanic eruption known to man. And it's a close second. Extinction level event. At least three of it's previous eruptions are that level. A bunch of smaller ones that arent.

I think 2012 is possible, because on 12/21/2012 a planetary alignment will occur, which hasn't happened (dont quote me the date may be wrong) in 26,000 years. The gravitation pull of the planets, could do many things, even knock a meteor off the asteroid belt, directing it towards earth. This is all in theory, only time will tell.

Uhhh..no, just no. It wouldnt wipe out the world. However, it would be devastating for the USA. Everything within 100 miles of Yellowstone would be killed within minutes, the bread basket would fail and would plunge the USA back into a dark age...almost literally.

The ash cloud would encircle the globe and drop the global temperature a couple of degrees and that may or may not be enough to disrupt world wide crops...they dont know for sure.

No we will not all die off. Mankind has survived the last ice ages and super volcanic eruptions. We are certainly capable of surving this one. We will recover.
