Tiesto at Bonnaroo 2008

Our clips and pics from Tiesto's appearance at the 2008 Bonnaroo Music and Arts festival in Manchester, TN. Guests included Cary Brothers, Jose Gonzalez, and Tegan & Sara.

We got Tiesto to sign some CD's the evening before the show, then watched Metallica play their set on the main stage before getting a spot for Tiesto. We arrived at the stage around midnight and almost immediately Tiesto, Tegan, and Sara came out and did a sound check. They played "Back in My Head" before waving to the crowd and going backstage. At that point there were only a few dozen people present.

At 1:30 in the morning the main performance commenced. It was a wild show with great guests. Rain poured outside of the covered outdoor stage for much of the performance. We had been listening to music all day (we had been near the stage for the Drive-By Truckers at 12:30 the previous afternoon) and night but were not the least bit tired when the show ended at 4:30 that morning. The energy level was really unbelievable.

In 3 years at Bonnaroo, this was one of the best performances I have ever seen.

wtf! tegan & sara do a live vocal with tiesto!!!! soo mad i wasn't there. two of my fav artists from totally different spectrums! ah! so jealous :( but sooooo cool
