Dear Durfin, HHO flame is without any doubt 100% NEUTRAL , Both Hydrogen recombine with the single Oxygen, for a Neutral flame, there are NO FREE Oxygen Atoms . once more... if you want to weld SS use a TIG , you need to braze SS you can use HHO Best regards Daniel

It wont weld steel because it produces an oxidizing flame.

For example, welding cooper and S-Steel is a task HHO performs perfectly, and you cannot do it with a TIG .... so each one is useful for a specific work ...
You can hardly weld THIN S-Steel sheets , with a TIG, but you can braze it very well with HHO .... because is just the appropiate tool for this work . HHO is not the solution for everything but helps in a lot of tasks !! regards Daniel

Yes I did it , HHO + Oxygen , is OK to cut steel, but is not enough for a good steel welding work , we must introduce additional carbon molecules to compensate these been burned by HHO , TIG is the best option for steel , but we can use HHO for a lot of other very interesting applications.
We are testing HHO+Oxygen+Gasoline ( in a bubbler) and will probably be able to weld steel ... but TIG will still be the proper solution for such task !

Did you prove welding steel pipe with the addition of oxigen? How was it? What about the penetration ?
