It's not that they think they ought to get away with breaking a law, simply because their intentions were good. The problem is that Dallas was enforcing a "law" that was unjust. It ought not be a law in the first place. Your point of view shows how you support the government's "right" to do whatever the hell it wants, but you don't give a shit about the "rights" of the people who are governed. Of course, I mean that with all due respect.

Justice is blind. It just didn't work in their favor this instance.
Imagine all the other countless times when the Rule of Law was enforced to no complaint.

If you think this is shocking you should get a hold of "Lost Rights" by James Bovard. It will make you sick the things that our government are doing to "protect" us.

Unreal that these people were treated like drug dealers or worse...... I am staring to lose faith in the country I love so much. The government can run lotteries that target the poorest communties and return 50 cents on the dollar....but some patriotic americans can't play americas card game.

Yeah!! Government in action. Whatta waste! Why dont they go after the drug dealers in that town? Dont they have anything better to do. That organization probably paid for thieir bullet proof vests. nuts...
This is ridiculous. If the VFW guys haven't paid their dues, I don't know who has.
