This my biggerst invention: my homebuilded musicalinstrument and I´ve build all by selft. It´s a kind of a clarinet and a saxophone with a mouthpeice for clarinet on a PVC-plastic pipe with handmade kees from the clarinet and it´s working very good, all tone are right. It´s called: "Clarinetsaxophone". All tones are right and it´s works very good!

  • So basically you made a gold alto clarinet with the look of a shrunken bass clarinet.

  • So if I'll be perfectly honest, I did not like that they would look like a bass clarinet when I built it, I just wanted the clock paragraph directed upwards so that the sounds would be sent up. Then I thought that the white plastic color was inappropriate garish so therefore I chose to paint it in gold paint. :-)

  • Good God! What have you done man! It is very crazy yet cool design.

  • looks like an soprano saxophone mixed with a bass clarinet

  • haha it looks kinda like a bass clarinet

  • or you could call it the saxanet

  • It seems that this would be more closely related to a clarinet, if not just a clarinet in a different shape. I say this because it's bore is cylindrical, and that's one of the main things that distinguish a clarinet from a saxophone (a saxophone has a conical bore). That's why clarinets and saxophones both require completely different blowing techniques and fingerings when being played. Nonetheless, I think it is very cool that you're doing this. Good job. :-)

  • Listen to me! I told you right in the movie that the tube is madeof PVC / VP pipes and not brass. I know myself that it is plastic, because I have myself built it and it is gold is gold paint!

  • Looks more like just a Bass Clarinet, or Alto Clarinet.
