  • @wardymcwardfish killing e coli with high heat doesnt justify the fact youre still eating cow shit. and if you have a chicken coup, that would serve as a natural insecticide/pesticide.

  • e-coli comes from cow manure - from poor quality control/lack of quality control at meat manufacturing plants. We're still eating cow crap. spinach can get contaminated with e-coli from run off water from near by cow farms.

  • Your own produce! You may well poison yourself. The 'Bad bugs' are not just found on produced products. In fact, it would be interesting to know the rate of bugs/pound produced at manufacturing plant vs. home farm. I would bet it is less on product from a plant than it would be at your home. Notwithstanding that, I ironically do prefer my own grown produce. Just want everyone to make an informed decision. Oh hamburgers..... cook them well and you will be ok.(E-coli is killed by heat)
