@pitopito121 I'm a Rockets fan, I remember how great Starks was in the NBA finals. He was killing Houston until game 7 where he lost eveything in that game.

The man inspired me. I was 18 and struggling to survive. John Starks was a role model for me and still is. Watching him play taught me the importance of having heart,

Man, I LOVED John Starks. He embodied everything about NY. He was tough ,gritty, and intense. How could you not love this man's drive, determination, and passion for the game.
The NBA NEEDS players like John Starks these days. The game is missing players like Starks and Jordan. Guys who will put their body on the line for a W.
John Starks is my all time favorite player. I wish The Knicks would've won a championship with Starks and Ewing there

@samtheman7975 Having a bad game isn't choking. Starks stepped up for The Knicks on, numerous, occasions and hit big shots. You don't have to look any further than Game 6, of the same series.
He, single -handedly, almost won the championship for The Knicks in that game. He scored 16 points in the 4th quarter.
Starks was a streaky shooter, and happened to have an off night at the worst time. You win as a team, and lose as a team, not as indivduals.
I'll NEVER blame Starks for that loss.
