lol in beta it was quite boring ..... its ALOT better now and in the vid it looked dead easy to kill people being melee-con in the sonora desert patch its quite hard to survive being melee-con

sure , destroying beacons and taking down turret is usefull but it's not only that , a good EMP on a point , breaking enemy formation , disturbing enemy snipers , etc .
moreover if you're a swordie , your job would be to slow medics and harass them

Recons are not meant to kill people, they are to take down turrets and beacons...nothing else. And if your not doing that your a scrub.
