This is a good movie but I like the original better, although I do like the fact that having a young ''micheal myers'' tells us how micheal became''Micheal''.

Michael like is mad like hes like a little girl trapped in a boys body and he like gets his anger from that. Man that little girly boy is the opposite of how he should be portrayed as a child. Mane on the other hand is perfect as the adult. The whole growing up angle kinda ruined it for me but the rest is pretty bad ass.

I really liked this movie. In fact, it was how I was introduced to the whole Myers series, and this version will always have that role in my life as giving me way to my newest favorite killer <3

And yes, Mane DID look like a hobo and he DID talk, but I think if he was at least forcibly unmasked by the doctor and clean-shaven like he is here, it'd be acceptable. He was clean-shaven when Tony Moran played him, why not be consistent?
