'vlach' is nothing but an alien name for the romanian nation. it came along with the slavs. they called latin/italian people by that name ..

and due to aggressive assimilation and nationalist propaganda by serbs - the diaspora romanians almost lost their identity. only some people who keep to search for the truth know this.

just take a look at the south-romanians in greece and albania... you'll find the same issues. its like moldova - which got brainwashed by russian propaganda.

@Terneyah Only those who do not know the life and history of the Vlachs in Serbia can talk about aggressive assimilation! Assimilation is spontaneous and voluntary. Resistance to Romania provide farmers themselves Vlachs. Maybe everything would be different if the Vlachs had their schools and churches, but they refused Vlach schools in your language, because they wanted to be a better fit in the Serbian society. It is a historical truth, everything else is great lies of Romanian propaganda.

Vlasi govore jezik slican Rumunskom, ali to nije rumunski, niti su oni Rumuni, ako neko zeli da ih asimiluje u rumunsku naciju, to je isto kao da Srbi zele da asimiluju Makedonce ili Slovence.

А што се тиче тога јесу ли Власи Румуни или нису, данас се то препушта фактору "свести", то значи свако се изјашњава како мисли и како хоће, и имати било шта против тога коси се са људским правима. О тим стварима је најбоље говорити у првом лицу, јер се тада најмање греши.

Српски језик има ПРЕКО 6600 турских речи које су ушле у његово биће, па нико тај језик не назива турским! Стручне речи на којима почива свеколико научно знање српскога народа, у највећој мери су латинског порекла, па да ли ико српску елиту назива Латинима?! Те латинске речи Власи разумеју од рођења, па да ли је ико због тога тражио да се речи латинског порекла избаце из српског језика, или да тај језик назове простим, јер га говоре Власи у Хомољу чувајући стоку?!

Treba očuvati vlaški jezik i kulturu. Zato pozdravljam poteze kao što je pjevanje na vlaškom. Ovoj kreten srpskiheroi je tenkre koji je u jednoj diskusiji psovao vlašku majku. Njega su isprovocirali Rumuni (iz Banata) koji su se predstavljali kao Vlasi iz Krajine. Naravno da budale na netu dolaze do izražaja ali nečuveno je da čak i glupi Srbin psuje vlašku majku jer vlaški dedovi su zajedno sa srpskim ginuli za Srbiju.

@Terneyah Neither Romanians or Vlachs do not use the alien=German word Vlah.Same as the Albanians do not use word Albanian and call themselves Shqiptar. Romanians and Vlachs say- Eu sunt Român = Ruman I am Roman .All of them Romanians, Istro Romans, Vlachs Aromanians call each other FRATI ROMANI= Romani brothers. Serbs -are folk who clams as relatives even a Belarus and Lužické Serbs but on the other side they are trying to divide and separate Romanian brothers. Shame on you Serbia.

@SerbSlavR1a1 Jedna informacija za vas.Otac Bojan Aleksandrovic,koji na ovom snimku sluzi parastos se izjasnjava kao Rumun i on je zvanicno pripadnik Rumunske Pravoslavne Crkve,sa sluzbom u parohiji Mlajnica koja je deo Eparhije Rumunske Pravoslavne Crkve u istocnoj Srbiji,bas kao sto i u Rumuniji postoji eparhija Srpske Pravoslavne Crkve i tamo niko ne pokusava da dijalekt Srba iz Rumunije proglasava drugim jezikom.Pravedno bi bilo da i u istocnoj Srbiji to bude tako.Proverite sve ovo.

Thats my point of it. Im not for total seperation like that what happend in Kosovo - but *ethnically* seen, Vlachs are not Serbs and it cant be a crime to preserve the Romanian Identity with its (modernized) language. To hear things, like "Serbia for the Serbs - Romania for the vlachs" or mobbing as it allegedly happend to Aleksandrovic' community, is just awkward.

You know.. fear of the unknown is typical.

They were also forced to assimilation on many times. The serb king dusan is one of these examples. It is ridiculous, but when it comes to wars - serbian nationalist insist that vlachs are 'serbs' .. otherwise they say 'nooo, you're not serbian'. I know it by myself. Its hypocrisy. And i dont think that the Vlachs refused the language in schools. Vlachs just didnt get along with the modernization of romanian language and the state itself. Also because they live in the Serbian State.
