You'd have to ask the world. My point was just because a person states the world does one thing does not mean that the world actually does it. You were the one who brought up the whole issue of the entire world and the metaphorical use of the word "world". Don't get all pissy when your arguments can't stand minor scrutiny.

Hmm....It would appear you are incapable of using a dictonary (physical or web-based) to learn what "world" means. FletchforFreedom has a better understanding of it than you do. Where did I say "all of the sudden the world doesn't mean the whole world."?

Certainly, Reagan did not single-handledly cause the fall of the Soviet Union. The nature of ostensibly communist governments, particularly planned economies, make them unsustainable and doomed from the outset. On the other hand even Russian historians agree that the straw that broke the Soviet Union's back was emphatically NOT the war in Afghanistan but the even greater military spending aimed at keeoing pace with the US buildup (while consumers waited in line for bread).
