House Oversight Committee Hearing, 7/31/07: Mr. Matt Jadacki, Deputy Inspector General, Office of the Inspector General, Department of Homeland Security, was asked for a list of every deficiency in the Federal Government's disaster preparedness and response system. Guess how long it will take Homeland Security to create the list? Perhaps they should visit our website: http://www.DisasterAccountability.org

  • 6 months to make a report they should already have! they should be able to make the report in no more the 45 days... 6 months is absurd, when hurricane Dean hits land we seemingly still won't be prepared, and we won't even know where are weaknesses will be. This is disgraceful!
