Metro Manila - the VERY Poor - Mission 3:16 Day 3 . Agham area of Metro Manila - Manila it self is a VERY modern city, awesome services, and the nicest people I have come across in 30+ countries. AGHAM, however, scares and saddens me.

  • u r speaking in behalf of those FEEDING the poor but did u ask them if it's ok being that way?

  • @anjojune did I ask if they felt it was ok to be poor? Not in those words, but yes. More like, do you enjoy your work, your life, your children. They did, more than me at times. Do I think it is good? No. Am I happy to help. Yes. Did they appreciate the food. They said yes, but I am told that it took decades to build their confidence - the missionary in place did that. I assume love did it.

  • damn it touch my. it sad to see my people living in poor. i believe philippines is the richest country in asia we have plenty of resources but the corruption is widely spread how sad but im proud to be filipino thanks for helping the filipino pmccoy god bless and mabuhay

  • nice to feed the poor, charity work but will u forever feed them? isnt it better to teach them a livelihood to they can support themselves.. since poverty is a choice u can safely assume tat povert-stricken por r less likely to be disciplined at all.. lack of self discipline is one big factor there is overpopulation there with the ensuing lack of food, education, the list goes on.. Its time we make the citizens self reliant..God put us in this world to be self dependent not to be a parasite!

  • Poverty is just the symptom, not the disease. We don't treat symptoms. We treat diseases.

  • i live here in manila and you cant blame the people.. its the corruption from the top to the bottom. the pay is so low and the jobs so few that its the only way the store clerks and taxi drivers &etc can make a living.. its hard to blame anyone for the way things are here. however it has to start from the top and over time maybe the corruption will stop. no countries want to invest in the philippines because its so corrupt. also, abortion should be legal and birth control more readily available

  • Asians do the victory/peace sign without even noticing. ^^

  • Agree with the poster of this video that the Filipino people are the nicest that I've met in the world. Many people are very poor but there are also middle class and up to very rich. Education is prized. There is a lot of good that can be done.

  • You are right......anjojune.....you are right!
