ill jump the pond and drive but i will need at least a 3408 cat or 12V71 eather one with twin turbo;s with a 6x4 tranni and 3;10 rears on 11R25.5 daytons. or just a truck lol i would love to do that nice vid thanx from the midwest.

Got plenty of gauges in your truck, you got some good lights. I thought it was a magnet lifting the pipes off until I read suction.

@gm16v149 thanks,i never use dog and chains myself if i can avoid it but,as you know some loads have to be chained.i,m always getting it from the boss about using to mant straps but hey i havent had any damage to loads since giving myself a scare.so pays to be cautious and careful

@sclair463 a mate of mine from new zealand has just moved to australia and is now working out of port head earning over 150k a year and gets a tax break because of the remoteness of the area.he's driven the ice roads up in the nth o canada and all over the state before coming here he reckons this is the best he's had anywhere else in the world..australia very big wild wet dry amazing place.get ya licenced endorsed and give it a bash what have you got to loose.get a msic and a blue site card

hey was this at the tubemakers facility?if so did you ever know of a guy john wheatcroft,he was killed by a dog and chain that sprung open and hit him in the head.then end result was john passed away 4 weeks after the accident the blow weakened the artery inside his brain and it leaked slowly killing him as they didn't do a cat scan after the accidentthis was back in the 80's so a long time ago.mum still mourns him

I've been driving Long haul in Canada for the last 23 years, and often thought how much fun I'd have doing what you guys do with the road trains. Have you ever heard of, or do you know anyone who has come from way up here in the north to do that down there. I'd love to give it a go.

@sclair463 I've never seen Americans or Canadians driving trucks over here, we only ever see you guys as tourists or as short term consultants on projects. Could be because it is hard to get a working visa? I don't know. I've heard of and know Australians driving trucks on your side of the pond.
