i would go with the lenovo everyday

Its not the operating system. Its whether or not which has faster RAM and if they have solid state drives.

@rfsent5 I disagree. Watch closely and it's pretty apparent that the Thinkpad is only waiting for the bloody Windows boot animation to end so it can get on with loading the final desktop screen! Windows is what's to blame here ... not the Thinkpad!

@bboybram it has Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0, so it doesn't show things, that aren't needed - so it's faster-

@SimonsHappyToxicCake You: I am stupid!

@rfsent5 Wow I know how to make a computer, and I know lots of shit about them so shut up. I made a joke, and you said HOLY SHIT FUCK YOU. because you don't have a life. So calm down and put your hand up your ass and shut it. widows 7, and macs are both very good computers okay.

They are incorrectly measuring the boot time by comparing post time. Only mac users would do something this dumb. Post time is specific to hardware venders, NOT windows. There are windows machines that would leave the shitty macbook air so far behind it's comical. When you compare true boot times, macs lose against higher end pc's because they are slower. Which means everything it does is slower, once it's been booted. In this case boots were about equal if you count load times correctly.

Macbook: what now windows!
Thinkpad: SHIT !!! Not again.
@SimonsHappyToxicCake, people like you make apple happy, because they have no understanding of computers or how to compare things logically. Again, it's a hardware specific example and doesn't measure OS load times. So it's Not a windows example. What was slower was the think pad's post time, by 3 seconds. That said, it would be easy to find a laptop which was far quicker and cost less.
