The Bin Ladens were buisness partners of the Bush family. George Bush Sr was having a meeting with Osama Bin ladens brother on the morning of 9/11 2001. Then the Bin laden family was allowed by Bush to leave the country no questions asked, all other commercial commuter flights were grounded. @BlazingFerret I've checked a variety of timelines. This Cheney exchange, which Mineta witnessed, took place between 9:20 and 9:55 am. That is a large gap of time. According to Mineta, this exchange was about flight 77 approaching the Pentagon. It was being tracked by radar. at 9:41 flight 77 hit the Pentagon....at 10:06 am flight 93 was probably shot down. This exchange which Mineta witnessed indicates that flight 77 was allowed to hit the Pentagon. the jets flew 27% speed.

It wasn't, obviously, because the transponders were turned off. If you checked the actual NORAD tapes you'd know they had no idea where Flt 77 was until a few minutes before it hit the Pentagon.

The one Cheney was talking about was an unknown craft, either 93 or AA11 (since they didn't know it was the one that hit the WTC earlier) & the mileage estimates were just guesses based on last reported positions, long before.

No radar.

Secondly, if this air threat was in fact flight 93 and was entering an airspace perimeter which had been alluded to in the Timeline statements by air pilot code-named 'Honey', then that would explain why the Shanksville Mayor said that missiles fire was heard and air force jets were seen in the area. That would have meant the orders were 'shoot down' orders.

In either case, If this interview with Mineta was about the known Pentagon threat why wasn't it shot down?

@Yoshi5020 Yes, I have many questions about this interview with Mineta, . 1st, it indicates that Cheney was aware of an incoming air threat. Thus, if radar was tracking this threat, why wasn't the alleged flight 77 shot down before hitting the Pentagon? This would have made those orders "Stand down".

Based on the last known location & vector of Flt 93, since they didn't know it had crashed.

At that point they had no idea where Flt 77 was, since it wasn't located until it passed Dulles Airport, a few minutes before it hit.

This is a serious question: If they were talking about Flt 93, why would they say "50 miles out, 30 miles out, 10 miles out..." Out from where? Where could a suspected target be anywhere in Pennsylvania? And yes, I'm too lazy to look at the NORAD transcripts, as any normal person would be.

@Grundalizer If bush wanted to get into the middle east, and planed 9/11, Wouldnt he put an Iraqy -spell check- on one of the planes? They found the passengers, and not a single Iraqy on the planes. He used it as an excuse to invade Iraq, not a reason made.

On that note, can you indicate where in that transcript Norman Mineta alluded to flight 93, let alone any specific flight? I am interested in what you have found, because I am not closed to further understanding. Can you provide some evidence that Cheney was being warned of flight 93? Did they state such? Thanks
