The guy who sang this song, cheated on his first wife. They divorced and he remarried. He cheated on his second wife. She in turn cheated on him with a family friend who also did some work on their house. This man ended up killing him, wrapping his body in garbage bags and dumping it in a well on his property. The lead singers name was Walter Scott. I read an interesting book devoted to this topic entitled THE CHEATERS: THE WALTER SCOTT MURDER by Scottie Priesmeyer.

@n8dogg3000 Actually Bob Kuban and Walter Scott two different people. Scott was the lead singer, and Kuban was the drummer (not unlike The Dave Clark Five).
