Give Love A Try - Chapter Five

Sorry about such the long break guys! I've been really busy lately, getting art&history&english projects done, and I just didn't have time to post. But I will try and get another posted tomorrow, cause I have a snow day! Yay. Not. I am so tired of snow, and being stuck at home. I actually WANT to go to school. Ugh.

DANIELLE'S POV
I opened the door to the bathroom and nearly macked a dude, with a mustache wearing a long brown coat and hat holding a guitar, in the face. It looked like he was eavesdropping on our conversation, so I gave him a funny look.
"Watrya doin', creep?!" I screeched.
"No, its me, Nick. Sorry, I just kinda wanted to talk to her and I was just seeing what you guys were talking about...my bad. I didn't mean to get...caught," Nick told me.
"Yeah, well, don't do that. Girls find it, well, creepy. But you two have fun," I said, patting him on the back of the shoulder before walking away. I hid behind a stand and watched him as he took a deep breath and walked into the bathroom.
The GIRL'S bathroom.
He really is weird...
I walked over to the door and put my ear against it to hear better...
ALLIE'S POV
Some guy with a mustache, a long brown coat, a hat, and a guitar walked into the bathroom not thirty seconds after Danielle left. I kinda jumped, but then he ripped the fake mustache (which totally looked real in my defense) off and took off the hat and coat, revealing his bouncy brown locks.
"Um, mind if I join you?" Nick asked me, kinda hesitantly and I shook my head. He sat down sighing and looked at me. "Um...hi."
"Hi," I sat, still not looking directly into his eyes.
"Okay, look. I don't really know how to say this, so I'm apologizing ahead of time if I sound like a complete idiot. I...I like you. A lot, and I couldn't help but think that you kinda might like me too. And when you smiled at me..." He paused, and it looked like he was replaying it in his mind. "I couldn't help but feel like...like...I felt like there was nothing wrong anymore. Like, I just felt that everything was right in the world. And I know it sounds cliché, but its true. And what you said before you left, it shattered everything. All my hopes were suddenly so pointless. And, I wanted to fix that. Because I do really like you, Allie...Can I play you a song?" he asked me, and I couldn't help but be shocked. I shook it off and nodded. He started playing his guitar. As soon as he started singing, I knew I was doomed.
"You, you're like driving on a Sunday. You, you're like taking off on Monday, you're like a dream, a dream come true. I was just a face you never noticed, now, I'm just trying to be honest with myself, with you, with the world. You might think that I'm a fool for falling over you. So tell me, what can I do to prove to you that its not so hard to do? Give love a try one more time. Cause you know that I'm on your side. Give love a try one more time..."
When he stopped, I couldn't help but smile.
"I hope that's not a laughingatyoucauseyoujustsoundedlikeanidiot smile..." he said.
I shook my head again, and looked up at him, into his eyes this time. "I wanna try," I told him and he just smiled.
DANIELLE'S POV
I heard them stand up after Allie told Nick that she wanted to work at this. I bolted away from the door, running through the halls to where the guys were before. I kept running and running as fast as I could, and when I turned a corner I ran into somebody, saying "Jesus!" as I knocked them down with me.
"Owww..." whoever it was said.
"Ughhh..." I moaned, not able to move. I just laid on the person, my body aching from impact. After a minute or two, I turned my head to look at the person I was laying on top of. Joe.
I got off of him quickly, brushing my clothes off and he did the same. "Oh, sorry," I said awkwardly.
"You're fine," he said, giving me that attractive "I'mflirtingwithyou" face.
Nick and Allie came back around the corner together, walking rather closely. By the smile on Allie's face and the fact that Nick touched her hand gently before actually holding it, I knew that everything was perfectly fine.

Haha, probably Bambi right now... My sisters and I watched it the other day and noticed the baby raccoon dissapeared when its mommy licked it. So, DON'T LICK YOUR BABIES!
