Cutting off their tails has nothing to do with good breeding.

That doesn't mean all Australian Shepherds are born without tails. I suggest you do some more research. You hostile language suggests that your subconscious is having trouble believe what you're saying.

I love this video. I have a mini aussie and he learned down after only three tries. I read that you should train your dogs by respect for you rather than treats, I find she feeds her dogs treats very often though the strategy works well for her.

how tall is she? Beautiful dog =)

@tackydrawingvids That's what my Mini Aussie has, I think they cut it off though.

@tackydrawingvids No, not all of them are. Many Aussies are actually born with long tails, like most dogs. But they get docked shortly after birth for many reasons.
If they're stock dogs, it's because their tails are naturally bobbed making it impractical for them to have them, so shepherds used to dock them for practicality. If they're show dogs, it's because it's the style. You can choose whether or not to dock their tails.

they're born with stubs ,not no tails very small stubs.

Looks kinda like a Pomeranian. :P

hehe I'm a college student with a pure breed aussie sleeping on my bed. I can tell you for sure they have a tail, but it's so small that it looks like it doesn't have one. That is why they are mistaken as a tailess dog.
De toutes façons, avec ou sans queue, ce n'est pas ça qui est important pour un australian shepherd!
Alors merci de ne pas commenter si c'est pour dire de telles betises.
