Was that normal in that kind of weather.It's one thing too be caught out in the lake by it,but too leave the safety of a harbour...WOW...
Also was there any passengers onboard? That was awesome. I have a number of years on Video that is in a dry place and I hope too transfer them onto DVD when I get back too Canada later this year. Most of the video is from The Welland Canal area Lake Erie about the mid 80's into the 90's.

@canadiantimberwolf1 I was told there were, indeed, a few brave passengers aboard. It was the last trip the captain made that day before saying it was too rough to continue.

@islandcaptain That is absolutely awesome...I've been too The Straits just a few times and I want too see more. My wife is British and I promised her because she wants too be the first in her family too touch American soil that I would take her into Michigan and up too The Soo. I am a big Great Lakes Fan. We are moving back home too Canada later this year 2011. So if all goes well I will be up there in the summer of 2012. Thank you for the information and take care....
