Found some woolly bears, the larval form of carpet beetles (Anthrenus, Dermestidae family) in a canister of dog treats. I gave a few to my jumpers and they love them. Two grabbed them from the tweezers.

  • I'm curious to know how to kill these bastards without buying expensive chemicals. Vacuum daily perhaps?

  • @831Ralph More vacuuming, even weekly may do the trick. Do you own birds? I usually get them because of seed or feathers getting on the floor.

  • Sorry, must have not saved my description last night. Now I got to do it all over. >;( Anyway, they're a new feeder culture I thought I'd try for my P. johnsoni slings. They're often called woolly bears (larval form of a carpet beetle) They eat just about anything and my jumpers seem to love them!
