  • wow that was sick. how did u do those effects?

  • all of the blood and smoke effects were either cigar smoke or water propelled from my mouth against a black back drop. i luma keyed out the black and then put the smoke/blood where it needed to be. The blood was the water keyed out and digitally balanced to red. The flashes were drawn in motion and also put where they needed to be

  • NICE DUDE! where did u get the special effects

  • Perfect, I know exactly what you're talking about. Thanks a lot for the comments, I really appreciate it.

  • yeah you use your background shot, your "plate", and then add all the layers of video with your 'enemies'. yeah you just roughly mask, or trace as you called it, around them. you only need to mask around the edges precisely when two or more of your 'enemies' overlap

  • Yeah, I know a little about masks. I have After Effects CS3 but havent masked much.

But did you do something like, taking a single background shot, and then tracing each little enemy and then place them in the shot? I think thats how i would approach it but if thats not how you did it then I would like to know how you did it. Thanks.

  • hey dude i appreciate your interest. what i used for the clone part was layers of video and masks. learning about masks will unlock a ton of special effects doors for you. You can use software like motion or after effects. Search 'video masks' on google and look around. you'll get a feel for it. thanks for checking it out and don't hesitate to comment!

  • This is no lie probably one of the best things I have ever seen on Youtube. I'm not being stupid or you know, but I absolutely loved this. The effects were great. Blood and muzzle flashes, just everything was perfect. 5 stars, subscribing, you deserve it.

I have just one question, for the one part where its like 5 of the same guy. I have been trying to accomplish this effect and I was very curious. Please message me back whenever you can. Keep this great work up.

  • nice video, 5/5 where did you get the special effects?
