The XX sex workers are transgender or transvestite...

but you said on the thinking athiest you wore a man gay

So Zinnia is a gay male dating a female? You're not gay then.

@terryshiavoftw I don't think she's "ugly" because she's a feminist. I think it's because she's a lesbian. Female arousal cues are more psychological, so lesbians can attract a mate even if they put little effort into their physical appearance. In fact, being "pretty" or traditionally feminine will more likely get you overlooked in the lesbian community. Believe me, I should know...

A a man who is a humanist, and therefore a feminist by extension, I am dismayed by this argument as it is filled by false dichotomies. I know that simply by being male, I am immediately suspect as an "agent of patriarchy." Nevertheless, is it really true that one's attitude towards sex work is even a feminist question, as at least one-third of sex workers are male? Ethically speaking, I am for the legalization of all sex work, regardless of the worker's sex. Is feminization even necessary?

@blazikengirl Thanks for the reference. Nevertheless, if Allan & co. are even 75% right, that's good enough for government work in my books.

@CplFerro (continued) I'm afraid doombuggy123 is right, and if you want a valid psychological study to back up his/her opinion, then I point you to Bem (1974) who did an inventory of 'masculine and feminine' traits, and found that those who were more androgynous, were psychologically healthier. People come in a whole spectrum of sexuality, masculinity and femininity. While there is an evolutionary basis, in today's society it holds a lesser footing. Btw Men did not breed women.

@CplFerro Don't mean to but in, but using any literature from Allan and Barbara Pease to back up sexual explanation is foolish. I have read a few of their books, and when one uses a quote from a celebrity, and then cites it as a fact, then their book loses empirical value. They're bias at best, and their entire 'psychological' perspective is a flawed biological approach, with no reference to the impact of environment/other genes.

it is great to hear all those arguments formulated precisely and clearly. thank you for making this video =). i do agree that we are not living in an equal society. the ability a woman has to freely chose how to live her sexuality is merely not there, since there are always judgements made about women (i know this counts for men too but just not to the same extent). furthermore, it is the case that women no matter what achievements they have made are repeatedly reduced to their looks
Wow, you pretty badly mischaracterized sex positive feminism in this video... I'll give you a hint, it has nothing to do with wearing high heels vs not wearing high heels.

This seems like crap. Gay male sex workers fit in where? They are real thought it seems not the largest demographic of sex worker so they've been written off here. Saying "overwhelmingly" about there being more XX chromosome sex workers than XY (which doesn't make a lot of sense since a lot of the porn out there involves a vagina and a penis ...go look that up, it's true) seems like a generalization, and not the only generalization in this video.
