  • spoken word sucks and this guy needs to stop bitchin about cops bein dickheads. its not dicrimination, cops r jus assholes. i hate how everytime somethin happens to black people, its always cuz theyre black. hhhhh fuckin people man, idiotic creatures. cept me im smart, get at me

  • @dansansom215 fuck off asshole. he's dead. but he was a great poet. and though i tire of the way blacks olay the victim card as well, this man was doing something educational and constructive--a great poet and professor. if you don't like the channel, don't come back...you seem like an ignorant asshole, anyway.

  • @dansansom215 Sundiata didn't need to stop "bitchin" about anything. If you passed 9th grade English class, you'd know what a poem is, and understand that the poet can write about whatever he/she damn well pleases to write. You don't like it - don't listen to it. Ignorant jerk.

  • @dansansom215 This poem was written at a time when many black people were being pulled over by police simply for being black. Sekou Sandiata wrote it to bring attention to the problem when it took place If you were smart you'd look into the background of this poem before making an ass of yourself with your comment. This was his way of expressing himself so please have respect for it instead of seeing it as "another black guy bitching" if not please keep your thoughts to yourself.

  • R.I.P bro

  • Ignoring the fool who is in obvious desperate need of attention. Most attention deficit minds respond to brilliance that way. That being said, BRILLIANT DEPICTION OF REAL LIFE, MY FRIEND. Miss U. But your legacy of words lives on.

  • @MissNophi2U WTF? Yes, he taught at NYU, and I knew him. I taught him in Creative Writing Class. The description says SPOKEN WORD? You do realize that???? Weird comment, I guess...

  • watch?v=H18mBu9LI2Y

  • weird production i guess,

but you do realize it is a poem not a "rap song" don't you?

  • i used to love hearing him do this poem live. rip.
