India can't match China's military force - Indian Navy Chief

Its long been believed but on Monday India's Navy chief, Adm. Sureesh Mehta, chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee, clearly spelt it out: India is no match for China, should a conflict arise between the nations.

Pointing out that it would be foolhardy to compare India and China as equals, Adm. Mehta said: In military terms, both conventional and non-conventional, we have neither the capability nor the intention to match China, force by force.

He went on to add that these were sobering thoughts... therefore our strategy to deal with China would need to be in consonance with these realities. Common sense indicates that cooperation with China would be preferable to competition or conflict as it would be foolhardy to compare India and China as equals, Adm. Mehta said.

I'm Chinese and personally I love Indians! They are so friendly and definitely intelligent!

I don't see any reason why the two countries should cut each other's throats.

I think Western media is making India and China to be FAR worse enemies than we are and should be!

@cena23sucks If this hate does exist amongst the Chinese and Indians.Then I can guarantee 100% it's not coming from the Chinese side. I have yet to see any Chinese media or person badmouth an Indian before.And yes, true enough, every friendships will have their differences and conflicts, that is to be expected and the Chinese people knows this

If you think the two countries should hate each other then I suggest you go elsewhere. Because the Chinese at least have nothing but respect for Indians!
