  • Procol Harum at their best, already superb at this early stage in their career. The piano and organ powerfully interacting and enhancing each other, BJ's confident leading role, Gary's great vocals. Amazingly, Gary at 60-something, sings better now than he ever did! Thank you very much for posting this rare gem!!!

  • Great observations.

Also, you're very welcome. Glad everybody is enjoying this little known work of musical art.

  • Best song ever!

  • Make friends with the colour blue!

  • Warning! Listening to this just once could cause it to be stuck in your head (see guitar solo, lyrics and organ especially during 3rd verse) and therefore be the last thing you hear at night and the first thing you hear in the morning!!! Best if played at maximum volume!

  • Un grand moment musical

  • One of their best

  • This song rocks so much I can't see straight.

  • @KingofMars62 saw them in Central Park's Waldman Skating Rink, which is small, in the summer of 1970-for one dollar.

They were awesome, but no Whiter Shade Of Pale-closed with Repent Walpurgis-which I guessed they would do.

  • Coulda been a Traffic song

  • Would you believe that I went to a vendor in LA (where I live) and I bought Her Satanic Majesties Request by The Rolling Stones, & this album on vinyl, and he gave me this one for free? haha true story.

  • The progressive rock brit scene owes EVERYTHING to them....in truth THEY FORMED IT
