hi, what is the software you use to slow things down? thanks for all the effort in doing this.

Great question. I was on a Dell/Intel computer when I did this tutorial (since upgraded to a Mac Pro). For MSFT systems, I recommend Guitar and Drum Trainer by Renegademinds (do a google search). If you have a Mac, the best software for this is Amazing X. I tested a few of them and the quality is fantastic.

I'm so sorry, but I don't have the tab. They take longer to do than the video and I prefer to spend the time on the vids. Also, I wouldn't know how to tab the strumming on this song. I just know it in my head. The left hand parts are not difficult. It's the right hand strumming that takes time. I think I play the notes slow and clean in the vids. You might be able to find a tab on the Web and use that as a guide with my video.

Hi, thx! Except for my usual excuse that I would prefer to spend time on the vids than the tabs, on this one it's very difficult because of the right hand strumming. There is not way I could notate the right hand. But let me know which part you are having trouble with (time stamp within which tutorial) and I can always do another clip for you.

I put a paraEQ in front of my distortion block. The settings are above. Or you can use an EQ pedal and boost the mid range frequencies and narrow the band pass (bring highs and lows down). The fixed wah like sound is basically a narrow band pass filter with mids boosted.
