My dad lost his father at 10 years old by a car crash. The other kids at school laughed at him and I'm sure that made it almost unbearable to cope. I'm just glad that he made it through okay so he could be the good father he is to me. R.I.P Gramps...maybe one day in heaven I'll finally get to meet the wonderful man everyone says you were.

I loved this song from the first time I heard/saw it on Biker Boyz. Incredible song with and incredible message.... Makes me think every time I listen to it. It's one of those songs that stops me in my tracks and forces me to reflect on the lyrics...

from a mother, grandmother, and one who has lost my father, this song is so refreshing to here from a man who seems to know exactly what it means to be a father. I thank you. and much love to you and your family

Song is moving cuz I've been havin a hard time with my dad death last year cuz march 15, will be the 1 year anniversary. And this song reminded of what my dad told me what to do in the last couple days he was alive and I've forgot and this song reminded me of what he told me. His voice is good and he is a real singer. Not like artist 2day it's good 2 hear real music again. Thanks David Ryan Harris

What a gentle and touching song! My father was a great guy. His heart-to-heart talks with me stay with me even years after he passed on. Love you, Dad. Hope you're watching

My father walked out of my life when i was 6 years old, since then i have not been able to make sense of what went wrong. i realized he left because he could not be the man he needed to be, i vow to be there for my child son or daughter... NO MATTER WHAT, I WON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES.
