A lot of people don't realize that this game played a big part in the National Title race. Why? Because, as most remember, Nebraska ended up winning it over Penn State. And Nebraska ended up shutting out Colorado, while Penn State beat Michigan. Had Michigan won instead of Colorado, Penn State's win over Michigan would have looked a bit more impressive, and Nebraska's win over Colorado would have looked a bit less impressive.
