I feel bad because I REALLY hated the main story. Characters rocked, sans a few of them that felt like they were clumsy stereotypes or cliches. But the main story didn't really go anywhere. No good twists, it was way too straightforward, and the collectors were far inferior to Saren.

You can really tell that Joe didn;t even finish the game before reviewing it. First off he didn't even know about being able to specialize in another weapon which is about halfway through the game. And if you watch his video on the top 10 games of 2010, Joe is all over ME2 and had it in 2nd place.

@Warhamer116 Yes i agree Mass Effect is about creating your own Shepard but the overall personality of Shepard is a hardbitten soldier who stops at nothing to achieve his goal. That should be fairly easy for a highly experienced actor to replicate.
Besides I heard Hudson, Ray Muzyka, and other Bioware staff were gonna be executive producers or something like that. Im sure theyd flip a bitch if they let Hollywood fuck up their series.

I don't think mass effect movie is a good idea...
The whole point of franchise is to make your OWN Shephard and make the story like you see fit with soma basic restrictions.
Movie: train moving on tracks
Mass effect: helicopter that takes off and lands where it wants and moves to it's objective HOW IT FUCKING WANTS!
