Lili von Schtupp was a parody of Marlene Deitrich... and I wish they HAD kept this scene in the original movie.
We could have had these should-have-been classic lines here at 0:33 - 0:40 ("My world-famous wendition of `I'm Tired!' the song that closed POLAND.") and at 0:50 - 0:54 ("With your kind permissions..." "PERMISSION GRANTED!!")

@DSDunlap72 Thank you for commenting. :) Love the "permission granted" bit too, as well as the way she gingerly walked behind the privacy screen as there was not nearly enough space to move. lol. It is a crying shame that the scene was deleted. In an interview at the time (when she promoted the movie as "Black Bart" MK was quite excited about the scene - wearing the suit, etc. She would have wanted it to be black like the kinds Dietrich wore, but still, it's a nice scene. :D
