  • What a great record this is.

  • @lordkoos Just makes you wanna get drunk and party.

  • You've completely introduced me to Oliver Morgan and I thank you so!

  • @salsburysteakjr I only wish he had recorded more. He (nor anyone) could top this song and the way he did it. BTW, one of those writers on the label (Bocage) is Eddie Bo.

  • he told me about 1999 who was the Lala ,who shot him and why. And he told me this information cause i had a horse for him. He played the ponies and he said watcha got brother-nlaw so I told him bout the horse. the horse won. nookie boy got paid and he bought me a beer and told me abut the song.

  • @LJH70122 Thanks for the great story! Nothing better then a well kept secret to pull out when you need a winner at the Fairgrounds. Did he ever tell you why he released a song "I'll Make A Bet" under the name "Nookie Boy" and should I ask where he got dat name from?????

  • Heroin shot the La-La.

  • Hey you guys don't seem to know who shot Queen Lala. Jan Ramsey's "Offbeat mag" has the enitre story.......I have the article......

  • @deanslist101 Truly a great memory for you. "Who Shot The Lala" is just the perfect song to represent New Orleans during the time when Frankie Avalon and Fabian were being heard everywhere else in the country. Thanks for the props and hopefully one or more of his family members will see this. Many kids and grand kids of these guys have contacted me.
