Blessed are They (by Julie Hoy) based upon Psalm 84

I am thrilled to announce that 100% of the video footage was made by yours truly. Don't know what was up with the hiss in the tape, but this recording revisited the "Suzettes" style of layered vocals by tinkering with my four-track tape cassette recorder. I think the recorder may be on its last legs. But other than that, I did a lot of editing of clips plus added effects to this video for the first time in my sixty-odd videos, so it's a first for that, too!

Psalm 84 has always been one of my favourites. I can still remember the Mendolssohn "How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place" - both playing it and singing it. There have been a couple of popular songs based on this psalm, but I really like this one. Filmed at my house and at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Columbia, NC.
