Duke Nukem 3D, ON MEGA DRIVE!

Yep. Not 32X, MEGA DRIVE.

This is a Brazil-only port of Duke Nukem 3D by TecToy. I honestly didn't think the Mega Drive could handle it (though I guess Toy Story shows off similar technology during the first-person level). Yes, I really suck as classic FPSes using classic controls, but it's so hard to see! D: But at least it makes use of the 6-button controller.

That's running pretty well. I mean the textures are pretty bad but it's a megadrive, what can you expect. :)

@Pirochiro Yeah, once you get past how bad it is to play, it's actually really impressive for the hardware. Toy Story on Megadrive has a section like this too I think.

I didn't believe my eyes when I saw Duke Nukem 3D was ported to the Mega Drive in 1998, seeing how the Mega Drive sort of went out in 1995 but Sega was always popular in Brazil which I think is the only reason it was made cause it seems pretty pointless making the game on such dated hardware when you could just get it for the Saturn. It does have good sound effects and looks decent seeing how the Mega Drive was not made for FPS's, especially ones a generation ahead of it

The textures aren't bad, they just need horizontal blurring like seen on composite or RF. Go ahead, take any frame of output and apply a horizontal blur to it.
