  • This video does not explain about Japan's history perfectly. But some thing like good.

Almost people would misunderstsnd about SAMURAI. First of all, Samurai was Bureaucrat, they had have to work in castle or government office. Since they were born they had to train sword skill, mathematics, literacy study, confuciusism, singing, NOH dance, history, and science. Samurai was very busy to work.

But when they became unemployed, they could be a teacher in the town. So Samurai was intelligentsia.

  • @TheHaraboji Samurai had never existed inKorea. Samurai is Japanese word which was born in early Heian period. Saburau, it is verb and gradualy changed toSamurau.

It means staying by peers always stilly to protect them.In early time Samurai was warrior. But next period Samurai means cultivated warrior as well as bureaucrat. Officially Samurai is called or written the word BUSHI,or SHI. Samurai have existed only in Japan. Korea had been colony of China for 1000 years long. needed not warriors.

  • @baron706 Jozu!

  • @TheLiberalKnight hokay ^^

  • @Mangafairy Foreign investor was perhaps the wrong term to use.

  • @TheLiberalKnight Of course, the French and Prussians were a huge basis for their Imperial Japanese Army, with many a french advisor. However, this is not what I was disputing. We were discussing the fact that you claimed that this clip portrayed the 'USA as being the main foreign investor'. When during the TOKUGAWA ERA IT WAS! You do realise this clip discusses BOTH right? Or have you not watched it?

  • @TheLiberalKnight Who mentioned 'the last samurai'? :s Whether the whole world supposedly hates america does not change it's influence AT ALL, clearly YOU hate american and so are refusing FACT. There I was thinking Townsend Harris was AMERICAN! Aww silly me! I though that it was after the Treaty of Amity and Commerce with the US and Russians that the Japanese signed the Ansei Treaty! I'll give you time to wikipedia it shall I?

  • @Mangafairy No, the whole world hates America, your arrogance is beyond anything concieved by the human race.

America did have influence on Japan, but anyone IDIOT who believes that film 'the last samurai' is misinformed. It was British and French military advisors who influenced the Japanese military. It was British industry that Japan copied. America had next to nothing to do with Japan in the 19th century.

  • @TheLiberalKnight Oh man I'm not arguing with you you're clearly just trolling, nobody is that stupid. If you really knew anything you'd give points instead of just swearing. Really, arguing with you would be like kicking a baby.

  • @Mangafairy No, YOU'VE been misinformed, you daft cunt! Thinking America is the center of the world. In the 19th century, America was always just a sideshow to what France and Britain did. In Japan, Britain had the largest influence, anyone who denies that should kill themselves for being so stupid.

  • @TheLiberalKnight You've been misinformed, ever heard of Perry? One of THE biggest influences. If not for Perry's gunboat diplomacy the Unequal treaty wouldn't have come about.

  • Search YOUTUBE!! " South Korea and Japan in WPTC 2010 ( World Cup of Sweets)"

    ........Is that fair ?
