  • Hey rickets, I am having so much trouble keeping my led caps on so I was just wondering what glue you used to make them stay

  • @jokzterx I head a lil silicon is good. Search reefcentral

  • i have been hearing that sps corals hardly grow with leds that other coral is fine with LED but sps are better to get halides. is that the same with you how much growth are you seeing on your sps corals under the LED light

  • @enavarro715 lots of growth, led's are great for my sps.

  • Love your tank. I'm not really into DIY stuff, as I am a college student and don't have the time, money, or knowledge to do it. However, I would like to get some advice on different lighting for my tank of puffers. I would like to make the yellow on the top of their heads pop a little, and the flourescent bulb I have now isn't doing that. I have a flouresecent hood, but I was wondering what color would be best on my tank? Thanks!

  • @christiangurl199117 blue LED's bring out color well..also a red or two helps.

  • how much did it cost to make the entire fixture?

  • Do you absolutely need fans on the LEDs or can I run them without the fans?

  • I am soo confused man, I have been follwing your led build, and it looks like you were using custom leds and now this tank your showing is only showing the gu10 versions with sockets in what looks to be a parrell installation? Argh, where is the video of the custom build you had with your heat snks and custom drivers?

And why do you use the T5?

Other non-Diy sets are using reds, and clam not to need other lights, like the t5 for holes in lighting spectrums....

    where is your custom build?

  • nice video's and channel

  • hey

have you taken any PAR readings with this fixture on? i know the cree LEDs are intense but i would be interested ing seeing how intense they really are

  • @enavarro715 CREE LED arent just any type of LED man there the best and better then MH you should look at eco tech marine there latest light fixture the radion i think it is and uses these same LEDs in theme proven and reviewed by MR.saltwatertankTV check out his videos as well

  • What did the project cost you all together?

  • @1mkwiet They say leds not work for Plant tanks yet either. I made them myself and they do BETTER then the T5 the hardest plants even! :))) Much stronger and natural colours too!

I only wondered, how did you determine how many watt or amount of leds to use?

I want to make one for a bigger tank, and I not sure about the total output....

  • Awesome videos, I just finished my own LED DIY project from rapid LED over my 29g. I really love the colors you get with them as well. I think my favorite is when I only have moonlights or just the blues on, my clowns look like they are black and white. I also have CW, NW, RB and B in my setup just the vary the wavelengths a little bit.

  • @masterqaz

Dude, ur running 400 watt mhs??? I'm running two 65 watt cf! And they do the job right! Ive montis, zoas, shrooms, dirdsnests and many more! And all are doing great over my 29 gallon!
