i didnt really notice that much power difference. with a naturally aspirated engine i know i lost some torque, but this summer im going to get an x-pipe put in so i can get some that back.
my system is about as loud as you can get with magnaflow mufflers unless you start touching the manifolds and cats. if i had longtubes and highflow cats, my truck would scream.
yeah my friend has magnaflows on his titan and yours sounds a lot louder than his. I was thinking about puting an x pipe on mine too but i looked at some videos with x pipes and i didnt really like the sound as much. and i dont really know too much about manifolds but i'm not even gonna think about touching the cats on my truck cuz doesnt that have a pretty good chance of screwing somethin up?
depends on the state your in, you cant touch the cats in the more communist states like california, most places a competent muffler shop will probably do it, especially if you pay cash. as far as messing up the engine or anything, as long as the O2 sensors are in the right place it wont hurt it.
i dont know how many cats and O2 sensors are on the 09s, so it all depends.
I just bought an 09 f150 king ranch about 3 weeks ago and i'm really thinking about puting and exhaust like yours on it. how did it affect your performance?
