WTWS 26 out of New London was another real powerful station before going to Spanish programming. They used to run a lot of cool old shows like "A-Team" and "Knight Rider".
I remember watching ECW in the late 90's on WUNI 27.
It also became known for being Boston's sole source for the original ECW wrestling promotion's TV program in the late 90's, even as a Spanish channel.
Before they turned to the super-powerful WUNI! That station can (or used to?) be picked up without an antenna from practically anywhere in central to eastern MA.
I remember when this station used to have horror movies from 4 - 6 on Monday afternoons before they turned Spanish. I think I used to catch Bozo show on this station when I was a kid.

I remember the WHLL era...back in the late 80s/early 90s, they used to air a number of ABC shows not carried by WCVB.
