This is Abraham, April 26, 2011. He had just done 7 of 8 of his 'girls' (pheasants) during a one hour time period and then 'did the little chicken'. Abraham thinks well of himself! It's not easy to satisfy everyone, but he tries. See this Pheasant mate a Chicken. We do NOT have a chicken 'rooster' and were amazed when sometimes, our breakfast eggs appeared to be fertilized. Now we understand.

  • Camera is a Panasonic P100. This video was one of the first that I had done. Love the camera! Still learning.

  • Evidently, yes. It was proven and found it to be true as shown in the Photos on

Check out the website FEATHERSITE /Poultry/NDG/Pheas/RingN/BRKRingNHybrids. Male cross between a Ringneck cock and an Old English Game bantam hen.

A cross between a Ringneck cock and a Pekin bantam hen -- her legs, which can't be seen, were feathered. There are two birds, the offspring of Ringnecks crossed with bantam chickens. However, my Abraham was not succesful.

  • Although we gave him the proper food for pheasants, he preferred the layer pellets ..Yes..Super Horny Male.

  • Didn't work....all the eggs that I collected that may have been from his chicken, were unfertile.

  • None. Didn't work. Duds

  • Once the Spring Season begins, Peeper Blinders do very little to help. At that time, ONLY ONE male per pen is allowed to live with a harem. Keeping more than ONE male in a pen will result in blood thristy fighting. Often, IF more than one male is present for mating season, the fights begin and only one male is left standing. It's NOT a pretty sight.

  • @pshyco714 - It is very possible since the chickens and pheasants are in the same family. The only problem is to get them to breed, unless you have a super horny rooster, so horny that it will hump anything that moves.

  • awesome! camera has great video and stereo audio... what type is it?

  • is it possible to breed a rooster with a female pheasant?

  • How did you get that pheasant to breed that hen? It's very rare to have to of the different species to mate, unless if you've got a super horny male.

  • holy shit man how did you this ive been trying this for weeks
