@Obsidus It's a great album for sure, but i don't think there is a best album, from 2002 to 2012 a shitload of awesome records was released (and i don't talk only about st anger :D )

This was the first album from Obscura I listened to, and I've loved this album to death ever since then. I recently decided to check out their earlier stuff. I listened to their first album, Retribution and to be totally honest I was not really such a big fan of that one, kinda dragged on and wasn't so interesting. Right now I'm listening to Cosmogenesis, and I see this album is where they made the transition to the Obscura sound I like better.

Yesterday night, I was dredging a girl in a bar. Suddently this song began. I stoped talking during the whole song. Got an orgasm. So I asked the barman what band it was, then got back home listening and fapping!

@Obsidus Yes, for sake of not arguing about Genres of Death Metal. I think though, you have to put Nocturnal, The Common Man's Collapse, and Akledama up there too. But this much talent in one group is Crazy!!!

Am I the only one who thinks of Metroid when I see the cover?

2000's were a good year for a lot of relatively new bands.
Quo Vadis, Nile, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Obscura, Revocation among others: They'll be labelled Gods in the years to come.

Omnivium is the best Death Metal album of the past decade. I'm completely serious, this album is gonna be legendary. Absolutely stunning.
