I may be wrong, but I heard that gaming on WINE is smoother than gaming on Windows, since all resources are dedicated to the games while they're playing.
The only problem I had is I couldn't get one of my games to work, and when I tried maximizing the window of a NES emulator it just made a double window, and didn't maximize.

Maybe you can help me, I put PCLinux OS on Computer and when I download from Firefox it goes to desktop, when I want to install the files it ask me what do I want to open files with, What do I do and how do I install them ?

at lest video card of 512MB and 2GB of ram processors are pretty much advance this days so 2GHz or AMD4000 processor should get the job done.

nope..you are wrong...it's all about gaming.. you can't play popular games on linux..and even if you use wine to play your windows game on linux, it would not be as good as on windows.. ... so i'm forced to use windows like a lot of other gamers are..
